Local Villages Claim To Recreate Past Better

Following on from the power cut which briefly sent parts of St Neots into the 19th century, surrounding areas have claimed they too can recreate the past.

Some Little Paxton residents claimed they were able to recreate a time when computers weren’t as frequently used easily.  One local said “We’re working on recreating the early 90s when life was different.  Back then a bloke called George Bush was president, and there was a recession in the UK.”

Meanwhile local councillor Bob Farms claimed that Eynesbury Hardwick was able to recreate the past even better.  Cllr Farms was quoted as saying “As nobody knows its precise location, Eynesbury Hardwick has changed very little over the years.”

It has been suggested locally that the council has achieved recreating the past even more successfully by being stuck in the middle ages for a long time. A council spokesman responded, “You may laugh, but after we gave all your money to an Icelandic bank we’ll be back in the twenties before you can say ricketts!”
